Bunbury’s Oceanside Bar for Beach Views and Beers
The Hollow Beach Bar and Grill (formerly the Hungry Hollow) is located opposite the pristine waters of the Indian Ocean, making it the ultimate bar to relax, unwind and enjoy a few brewskies with your buds or a relaxed glass of bubbles while admiring the sunset. Originally built in 1966 and opening as a pub in 1996, the Hollow has made it’s mark on Bunbury’s landscape as the go-to bar for golden sunlight, stunning sunsets and ocean breezes.
As well as a variety of beers, wines, cocktails and spirits, we offer full meals, snacks, kids meals and desserts, with regular daily deals (download our menu below).
The Hollow venue consists of three seperate areas depending on what atmosphere you’re after. You can choose from our alfresco area, dining lounge or sports bar.

Alfresco Bar
Our sunlit, open alfresco area is the perfect spot to kick back and relax after a long day at work, catch up with friends over lunch or simply admire the view. You can watch the glorious colours of the south west sunsets with full bar and meal service. We have high tables, bar leaners, long benches and group tables available.

Dining Lounge
Our dining area is the perfect spot for family dining, complete with a kids area so the adults can relax (and still keep an eye on the kids!). Our booths sit up to 6, and you can choose to sit by the sunlit windows with ocean views, or by our inbuilt fireplace on the colder winter nights.

Sports Bar
With it's own seperate service bar, the Sports area is the go-to spot to watch live sport on the telly. Whether it's cricket, rugby, AFL or horseracing, chances are we'll be playing it! There's also a pool table and betting system available.
